Guide To Update OnePlus One to Android 6.0 Marshmallow via AOSP ROM.

Update OnePlus One to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Now We will share to all OnePlus One android user to update android system on it using Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is unofficial Stock android 6.0 firmware and experimental build based on CyanogenMod 12.1 (CM12.1) Kernel,  but some users who have flashed it say that its pretty stable and working well enough. This is the first Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based custom firmware is now available via AOSP ROM.

This OnePlus One is the smartphone with 5,5 Inchi wide LCD, work on Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), upgradable to v5.1.1 (Lollipop), and supported with Q uad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU, Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 Chipset, Adreno 330 GPU, combined with 3 GB of RAM and 13 MP of  Main camera and 5 MP on secondary camera.

What you need to start Update OnePlus One to Android 6.0 Marshmallow ?

  1. Make sure that your device is OnePlus One phone, because our guide is specifically for OnePlus One variant only. if tried on other android devices, it might get bricked

Please read this guide carefully to Update OnePlus One to Android 6.0 Marshmallow via AOSP ROM.
  1. First step Download Android 6.0 AOSParadox ROM for OnePlus One on the computer.
  2. Then connect and mount OnePlus One USB mass storage on computer with USB cable.
  3. Now, move the downloaded AOSP ROM zip file to the root folder on the phones SD card.
  4. Then switch off the phone and disconnect its USB cable from the computer.
  5. Boot the device into Recovery Mode, how to do it ?
    • Pressing and holding Volume Down and Power buttons together.
    • Once the phone enters TWRP Recovery, perform a full data wipe task by clicking Wipe button. 
    • Then swipe on the Swipe to Factory Reset option at the bottom.
  6. Then return to the main recovery menu and tap on the Install button. 
  7. Choose the zip file that you coped earlier to your phones SD card from the list.
  8. Confirm the installation on next screen by swiping on the Swipe to Confirm Flash option and the firmware installation should begin.
  9. Once the ROM installation completes, tap on Wipe Cache/Dalvik button to prevent boot loop issues. 
  10. At the end, tap on Reboot System button in the Recovery menu.
  11. If you see the new boot logo, that means you have successfully installed the ROM on your OnePlus One device.
  12. If you come across any boot loop or face system errors, try a factory reset from the recovery or you can always restore your previous ROM from the backup.
